We celebrated with a ribbon cutting with Vice Chairman Justin QuisQuis for the newly installed Elders medicine trail and constructed wetland that Indigenous Regeneration, the San Pasqual Tribal Environmental Department and NRCS have created to help purify our Reservation's storm drain water before it makes its way to our oceans. The Elder's medicine walking path garden has a handicap accessible trail for safely foraging traditional medicines. All of the wetland plants are traditional plants for basket weaving, boat making, jewelry making, and much more.

Thank you to our beloved elders who came to support in stories, prayers, songs and knowledge; Nick and Tina Alvarado, Stan Rodriguez, and Richard Bugbee. Thank you to our amazing family Nick Alvarado for coming to support and sing bird with your crew. Thank you all.
